Without spoiling it, is there any ? If not, I'd say maybe have a small flash a second before they pop out at the place they'll pop from to get a general idea of their position, or slow their popping to be able to avoid them easily enough.Įvery feedback on Crux has to been taken with a grain of salt as I repeat, it was my first fight ever against him. Otherwise the fight feels pretty awesome.Īgain, as a first fight against him, I didn't notice any way to guess where his tentacles will go when sprouting from him. As a first fight against him I hadn't much time to analyse the damage output I had, but the issue might come come from invulnerability frames (I assume he has some since the toad boss and Bogy both have some too) making a pretty powerful weapon barely more powerful than the base pistol.

I had teh triple plasma launcher at the time, which was able to kill most red forest enemy in 2 shots, yet I downed Crux to about 1/5 of his health after about 7 waves of his rotating tentacles. I don't know about diff 1 and diff 2, but in diff 3 it felt like he was a bit too much of a bullet sponge. Its pattern is very easily understandable while not being too easy. I know boss feedback is not 100% useful as they'll be reworked in the next update but I'll still give a bit of feedback on Crux (I believe it is his name). In the red forest, in a level, one of the red tree on the top (foreground) layer blocked a corner of the level, hiding a Jut that almsot killed me :P There was also another enemy that I coudl'nt identify as I only heard its death afterwards but its body was blocked by the tree. Fortuantely it was still a little bit off the door and I was able to get to the door. A corpse is not a big problem, but a yellow flower body that can still explode blocking the only exit of the level means an automatic -1 HP. In the graveyard, I've had a door almost blocked by a dead yellow flower (don't know its name I never died to it). Ok so I've gone through a few runs, and finally got to the red forest boss so here I go with some more feedback :)
